We're not a general garage that does a bit of everything. We're transmission specialists — full stop.
Our Story
Rochdale Auto Transmission was founded by a team of technicians who spent years working inside main dealerships and independent garages, watching automatic gearboxes get misdiagnosed, unnecessarily replaced, or handed back to customers with the same fault they came in with.
We set up on our own to do things properly. That means investing in the right diagnostic equipment, training specifically for DSG, CVT, and ZF units, and only taking on work we know we can fix. We don't guess. We don't replace parts hoping something sticks.
Based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, we serve customers from across the North West — many of whom have already been to other garages and been told their gearbox needs replacing. In a lot of those cases, it doesn't.

I highly recommend this garage! I first used them around two years ago to repair the DSG gearbox on my old VW Touran, and it is still working perfectly today.
